Although adults are welcome at the centres, the main focus is on teenagers and drinkers up to the age of 25.
If you’re looking for alcohol rehab in the east of Northern Ireland, the majority of the centres are found in Belfast. However, the centres located in the capital mainly focus on psychological treatments, as do the options in nearby Carrickfergus. The only alcohol rehab in County Down is in Banbridge, but this is a 12 step program so withdrawal management medicines aren’t available.
